Our Children are Our Future!   Our future prosperity and quality of life depends on educated and knowledgeable citizens. All Oregon children deserve an excellent education and the opportunity it provides.

Oregon taxpayers deserve to know that their education tax dollars are being spent wisely.   We need to know that our money is going to the classrooms where it is needed.

We also need stable funding for our schools.   Building on the Rainy Day fund is essential to protect our schools from the next recession.   Raising our decades old $10 minimum corporate income tax will ensure that Oregon businesses do their share to educate their future employees.

Childhood obesity is one of the biggest problems facing our State and our children.   We should provide healthy food and snacks in schools, not fat and sugar laden treats.   We must provide effective physical education for all kids.   Participation in school sports should be encouraged and open to all
